Political drama Jackie, by Chilean director Pablo Larraín, received four nominations at the independent film awards Spirit Awards, which lead Moonlight and American Honey, with six each.

The Chilean film, focused on the assassination of US President John F. Kennedy through the eyes of First Lady Jacqueline Bouvier Kennedy, is nominated for Best Picture, Direction, Edition and for the acting performance of Natalie Portman.
